Employee’s wellbeing and mental health in the workplace needs to be addressed; allowing 28 days holiday and sometimes private medical health schemes does not constitute a duty of care on a day to day basis. Employers and employees alike need to be taught resilience and relaxation techniques in order to safe guard against the growing endemic of mind illnesses.

Considerable research highlights employee wellbeing and resilience as key factors affecting attendance, productivity and performance.

Whether looking at stress management at work or on a personal level, we offer keys to unlocking personal fulfilment, happiness and achievement.

BESPOKE SOLUTIONS

Blended approaches designed to meet your specific needs. We always welcome the opportunity to discuss your specific needs and design uniquely tailored interventions for organisations and individuals.

We offer one to one sessions with PROFESSOR JAMIE HACKER-HUGHES covering:

THERAPY FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS

Using cognitive behavioural and other evidence-based therapies to treat:
• Anxiety Disorders (General Anxiety Disorder, Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Acute Stress Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD))
• Mood Disorder (Depression and other fluctuations in mood)
• Habit Disorders
• Psychosexual Problems and Relationship Difficulties

EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITISATION AND REPROCESSING (EMDR)

EMDR researchers found that by pairing the use of alternating bilateral movements with desensitisation and processing of (usually) traumatic images and negative cognitions and body sensations, and by replacing them with adaptive cognitions the speed of change in therapy is significantly enhanced. EMDR may be used for all sorts of complaints and is one of the two NICE (National Institute for Health and Social Care Excellence) recommended treatments for PTSD.

CLINICAL HYPNOSIS

Particularly effective with anxiety disorders (specific phobia, generalised anxiety disorder, mixed anxiety and depression, post-traumatic stress disorder), OCD and habit disorders, sleeping problems, sexual problems, as well as with general problems of assertiveness and self-confidence.

PSYCHOLOGICOLEGAL ASSESSMENTS AND REPORTS

Instructions can be taken from legal professionals to conduct psychologicolegal assessments, particularly in the field of trauma psychologicolegal, and to prepare psychologicolegal reports for use in court for both criminal and civil cases.
